Welcome to Cesar Chavez Language Academy

    Home of the Quetzales

Cesar Chavez Language Academy is a Two Way Immersion Program serving English Only and English Learner students in Santa Rosa. We are a Dependent Charter School in the Santa Rosa City Schools School District. Our school opened in 2013, with a Kinder Academy and Kindergarten classes. Each year, we have added a grade as those "founding" students move up.  For the 2019-20 school year, we will be offering a TK-6th grade program.

For the 2019/20 school year, we will offer the following classes:

    1- TK

    3 - Kindergarten

    3 - First Grades

    3 - Second Grades

    3 - Third Grades

    2 - 4th Grades

    2 - 5th Grades

    2 - 6th Grades

We are projected to have around 440 students. In addition to instruction of the Common Core State Standards in English and Spanish, our students also have Art, Science, and PE classes.

    Kindergarten enrollment: 2021/2022 school year

Enrollment for Tk/K for the 21/22 school year has closed.

    7th & 8th Grade Enrollment

We have plenty of room in our Middle School program!

In order to be considered for enrollment, students must fill out this: Boundary Change Form

If you cannot print from your home, please come to the school office for a copy. Once that is approved, we will contact you to enroll in our school.

If your child is coming from a different Dual Immersion school, they can apply for our Dual Immersion (Spanish/English) Pathway. Students from CCLA's 6th grade class automatically matriculate to 7th grade.

Any student interested in taking Spanish 1 or Spanish for Native Speakers can enroll in our World Language Pathway.

Any Native Spanish speakers who do not speak fluent English can benefit from our Newcomer Pathway.

In addition, we will also be offering a Traditional Pathway, where students can take two electives.

Once your child is enrolled, they will choose their Pathway.
