Mike Runyeon (Department Head)

Mike RunyeonMike Runyeon has lived in Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, Texas and numerous spots in California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology from U.C. Santa Barbara, single subject teaching credentials in Physical Education and Social Studies from Dominican College (now known as Dominican University of California), plus an administrative credential and Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from San Francisco State University. He played both soccer and volleyball in college. Before starting at CCLA, Mike was a teacher and administrator in San Rafael for 27 years. He also coordinated the school’s 8th grade Washington DC trip for 25 years. In his spare time, Mike likes to travel and bicycle with his wife, play with his dogs and is looking forward to watching his son play football in college.

Natalie Villagomez

Natalie Villagomez Vigil was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in English from Sonoma State University and her credential and masters in teaching from the University of San Francisco. Natalie
played soccer growing up and now coaches the girl’s soccer team at Santa Rosa High School. Natalie is a foodie who enjoys reading, playing/watching sports, the beach, and traveling.
